LUZERNE ENERGIE 23% is a product that has been specifically developed for its protein content and nutritional value, to meet the needs of cattle, sheep and goats.

Is the alfalfa benchmark for protein

For the better quality of our dehydrated alfalfa, we observe the cutting schedule in order to harvest a plant in a vegetative state that is best suited to the manufacture of our different products. Harvested at the beginning and end of the harvesting season, corresponding to the alfalfa with the highest protein content. LUZERNE ENERGIE 23% contributes to correction of the protein level of the ration without reducing the energy level. In the search for alternative solutions to imported meal proteins in certain animal production sectors, Luzerne Energie is a solution of choice.
The unique organisation of our industrial storage facilities allows us to homogenise production batches and, after analysis, to optimise the formulation of our products.

Is the richest source of alfalfa-specific nutrients

Harvested at early vegetative stages, the leaf-rich alfalfa making up Luzerne Energie concentrates all alfalfa nutrients in the same way as the proteins: minerals, organic acids (including malic acid), vitamins (including ß carotene).

A major source of ß carotene and vitamin E, and with an excellent omega-6/omega-3 ratio, LUZERNE ENERGIE 23% has a beneficial effect on the health and fertility of ruminants.
